Your data, and how we handle it

Who we are

CeyCell® is a brand of Power Hands Energy. We make thermo-chemical energy storage systems in Sri Lanka.

This policy explains how we handle your personal data. We follow Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 (the PDPA). We respect your privacy and take only what we need.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into our forms. You give it to us when you ask for a quote or claim a promotional offer. Both forms ask for your consent first.

These forms may ask for:

• your name or organisation
• your location
• your mobile number
• a landline, if you add one
• an email, if you add one
• the capacity you expect
• your type of use: home, business, or industry
• the details of your enquiry

The System Finder does not collect personal data. It only records the choices you make so it can suggest a system.

Why we collect it

We use your data to call you back and to size the right system for you. That is all. We do not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it.

Your consent is our basis

We contact you only after you tick the consent box on the form. That consent is our legal basis under the PDPA.

We store the exact wording you agreed to with your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just email or call us.

Who can see it

Our team sees your data to answer your enquiry. We also use trusted services to run the site:

• Supabase stores your enquiry in a secure database. Row-level security is on for every table.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Plausible gives us privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, if enabled.
• Resend sends our email replies, if enabled.
• WhatsApp is used only if you start a chat with us.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while your enquiry is active. We keep them for a limited period after that.

Leads that do not proceed are removed.

How we protect it

Your enquiry is stored in a secure database. Row-level security is on for every table. Access is restricted to our team.

We record your consent with each enquiry, so we always know what you agreed to.

Your rights

The PDPA gives you rights over your data. You can:

• be told how we use your data
• ask for a copy of what we hold
• correct data that is wrong
• ask us to delete your data
• withdraw your consent
• object to how we use it

Children

This site is not aimed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Read our cookie notice for the full detail.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date below. Please check back now and then.
